The Foreign Credentialing Commission on Physical Therapy (FCCPT) lets applicants change their service after applying. This article explains a policy update about the time left to submit documents after a service change.
What’s the Same
Applicants have 12 months from application submission to provide all required documents.
What’s New
When a service change is approved, the remaining time to submit documents stays the same as it was for the original service.
Changing services does not reset or alter the 12-month deadline. The remaining time simply transfers to the new service.
How Time Carryover Works
The service start date remains unchanged after a service change.
- The clock does not restart.
- Remaining time from the original service applies to the new service.
Example
If 4 months remain on the original service when the change is approved, the new service also has 4 months left.
