If you completed coursework at more than one U.S. college or university, FCCPT must receive an official transcript from each institution that originally awarded the final grade for the coursework to be included in your evaluation. Coursework shown as transfer credit requires documentation from the institution where the course was originally completed.
What Documents Are Required?
FCCPT must receive official transcripts from:
- Your degree-granting institution
- Each U.S. college or university that originally awarded grades for transfer coursework you would like included in your evaluation
Why Are Original Transcripts Needed?
A transfer credit listing on another school's transcript may not provide enough information for FCCPT to evaluate the coursework. FCCPT must verify the course, credits, and final grade from the institution that issued the grade. Coursework identified as transfer credit on a receiving institution's transcript will require records from the original institution.
Example
You completed a course at Community College A and later transferred it to University B.
To include that course in your evaluation, FCCPT must receive the official transcript from Community College A, and from University B.
Important
If FCCPT does not receive an official transcript from the institution that issued the final grade, the transfer coursework will not be included in your evaluation.
